The board of Cibus Nordic Real Estate AB ("Cibus") and Sverker Källgården have together agreed that Sverker Källgården will step down as CEO. The company will start a recruitment process with the aim of finding a new CEO and Sverker will remain in his role until that process has been concluded.
The The board is very pleased with the market position Cibus has reached during Sverker's leadership. When Sverker was appointed as CEO in March 2019, the company had no personnel of its own, was listed on First North and only had a few thousand shareholders. During Sverker's tenure as CEO, the company has developed into an independent company, listed on the main list of the Stockholm stock exchange with almost 50,000 shareholders. Furthermore, the company has more than double its real estate portfolio and it is now active on all four main Nordic markets.
" Having concluded the development phase I was hired to do, it feels quite natural to leave the continuing development of the company in the hands of someone else. My primary focus will now be in securing as smooth a transition as possible. ", says Sverker Källgården
" Different stages in a company's development require different qualities in a CEO. The board and I personally want to thank Sverker for his exceptional contributions to Cibus during the significant development phase in which he has been CEO. ", says Patrick Gylling, chairman of the board.
